Meaningful change requires a holistic approach.

The word Kalo is derived from the greek word Kalon, meaning beauty that is more than skin deep. When we clarify what we stand for in life and start living accordingly - embodying the person we strive to be, doing the things that matter deep in our hearts, moving in life directions we consider worthy - then our lives become infused with meaning and purpose, and we experience a profound sense of vitality and internal motivation to take care of these vessels we are in.

At KALO we foster this deeper growth with a variety of tools including nervous system regulation, contrast therapy (sauna/cold plunge), breathwork, monthly coaching, scientifically based programming that encompasses the mind, body, and spirit, functional medicine, nutrition and intentional community building events to create an environment where we can all help each other show up as the best version of ourselves.

OUR BRAND PILLARS

  • We believe in empowering a woman’s highest vitality by bringing together the resources that elevate the interconnectedness of a woman’s physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.

  • We believe that in our intimately curated space of like-minded women, we can learn from one another, hold each other accountable, and support one another so that we can all collectively flourish.

  • We believe in giving women personalized strategies in all facets of life that address their unique needs and lifestyle. Because one size fits all never fits quite right.

Jorgi has been working in the fitness industry since 2015. It was here where she recognized the confidence boost and pride she took in being strong, and how that applied to her entire life, not just as an athlete. Jorgi takes a special interest in the development of women who are new to strength training. She takes pride in providing them with the skills they need to connect with their bodies in such a way that allows them to advance strength to their desired level, while keeping risk of injury at bay. She hopes to help women understand that strength in the gym equates to health and limitless ability as a mom, boss lady, wife, outdoor enthusiast, or any identity they choose to possess.

Jorgi is passionate about the application of strength and mobility training to real life activities, whether that be hiking, skiing, mountain biking, or simply possessing the ability to carry your groceries up the stairs in one trip! When she’s not coaching, you can find her on the slopes with her husband during the winter, or on the trails with her dog, Jax, and a backpack during the summer. She developed an interest in fitness and the ‘why’ to movement; from then  on she gained a wealth of information in areas of biomechanics, program design, and exercise physiology. Lauren’s light comes from seeing growth in others! She believes the best part of being in the fitness industry is being able to remind anyone that being “healthy” is beyond a physical aspect.
